The clocks went forward this morning so nobody could work out if they had had enough sleep or not.

After a late (or maybe not so late) breakfast we set off for our first visit this year to Pellinki, or more accurately Sundö. It took us less than an hour to get there. We spent the afternoon looking at the new lambs and talking with Camilla and Mikael. We checked that the summer house was intact and it was, although the major storms had Christmas had knocked down a lot of the trees around it.

As we are leaving I notice one daffodil plant already blooming. It is the only yellow in the entire landscape. We will be happily looking forward to a summer full of fishcakes and fresh potatoes all the way home.
