After brunch I cycled to Puotila and caught the metro to Kulosaari. John and Agniesztha have decided to hold a report back session in the tunnel under Itäväylä. I am interested to see if it works.

It does. There are about twenty people here in all and various workshop leaders give reports of their activities during the festival. Some use a data projector that is working courtesy of the little kiosk at the station entrance who have lent John some electricity. I report back on Living Chatter which, in retrospect, did all that it was intended to do and more.

The meeting lasts almost two hours and at one point a local woman walking a dog stepped into the circle and joined in in a genuinely interesting and forthright way. She was not hostile in the slightest, nor puzzled: she wanted to know how much these activities would or could increase the sum total of happiness in Helsinki.

Once the meeting ends I will go home and Irma and I will drive to see her father. We will then drive to Kamppi, stopping en route to pick up some milk and pies for her mother.
