I started the working day with a surprise conversation with Filip on the tram. This sparked a series of thoughts that proved very useful. I then had a planning meeting with Tomas in which we achieved a lot very quickly. I skyped Erik and told him what I had just thought and he got excited in an ill sort of way. I had in mind a way to launch our course as both a MOOC and an assessed course for our own students. If this proves possible it will solve a number of technical problems while at the same time making the course a much bigger deal for little or no extra work.

I spent the afternoon with the Real Time Web groups, trying to get Google maps working inside an app. Now I am walking across the square to see what the noise-in-the-dark is. It is the Lucia gang practising.
