Lime Street Station
POSTED: September 28, 2014
We are sitting on Platform 2 of Lime Street Station, on Sunday September 29 waiting for the train from Liverpool to Manchester Airport. I am looking at the beams that make up the roof. They look Victorian, and I suspect they are.
Their shape and the contrast between darkness and light that the shape offers is suddenly immensely evocative for me. These are not contrasts you see in Finland in the same way, and not even in London anymore. Like PostSunlight this speaks to me of earlier times when I was not the me that I am now.
