06:
dark in the woodland
twigs crackle under light feet
the air smells hungry

07:
movement like shadow
impossible to say where
the night seems to bend

08:
noises soft and damp
the smallest sound to the left
twigs drum the cold grass

09:
light in tiny shards
branches illuminated
brief night time flashes

10:
the scent of breathing
one or two mouths seek the air
alone by design

11.
the fox seeks dinner
meat that is smaller than me
sharp calculations

12.
the mouse seeks shelter
this tree has a hiding place
the fox will soon pass
