Today started out cold and wet and finished up like this. I am walking home from the bus feeling overdressed. The sky is announcing the return of summer and I am sweating under my thick cardigan.

Today has been spent planning and meeting, and this evening will be spent ironing and cleaning. Irma will attend a Parents Committee meeting, Naa will stay at Kamppi all night, and Auo and I will cover her new school books in whatever that sticky cellophane is called – without making any bubbles.
