Auo and Naa had to be at work at 8:00 this morning because tomorrow is market day and a field of potatoes need to be picked in readiness.

It has decided to be hot again today, and I have just finished four hours writing. I am looking out over the field watching the potato picking.

Irma has just phoned to say that the Russians have just conquered Finalnd again. Jokerit, and their stadium Hartwall Arena, have been sold to a Russian consortium. Jokerit will now play in the Russian hockey league, and Hartwall Arena will now host their home games. This is the equivalent of Manchester United joining an US soccer league.

Irma will arrive in person in the early evening to begin her summer holiday. The weather will be suitably hot to welcome her.
