We have come to Stoa with Shanti. Irma has some things to sort and collect.

I look at the current exhibition in Stoa: the Ukrainian-Finnish comics project that will form a central part of the Helsinki Comics Festival later this month.

The image shows a page from Sofija Tomilenko’s work. You can see more on Instagram at @tsofiako (and at the Comics Festival.

The caption describes her as “a Kyiv-based comic artist, illustrator and children’s book author. Born in 1998, her latest graphic novel is A Short History of Ukrainian Sex”.

Now you know.
