We have had a day in the garden, with a detour to Jysk to buy two shoe racks. These I assembled to replace a very old one that had never worked properly. Shoe racks, we have come to realise, should be the right size and shape for storing shoes.

We go for a walk in the woods with Shanti and come across a well-dressed young man acting suspiciously. A few meters on, around a bend, we come across a wheel barrow parked on a small path leading up to one of the hills. Shanti sniffs it and I move it down onto the main path.

We begin to feel as though we have entered a Famous Five adventure.
