The sun beats down. The sky remains almost cloudless. We decide to go to the city centre which Irma predicts will have almost nobody in it. We get there to find it busy busy busy.

Esplanadi and the market square both seem packed, both with tourists and local people. I photograph a tourist photographing a fountain at the start of the market square.

Everything feels very pleasant. Everyone seems very relaxed. Ice creams cost prices that no local people will contemplate paying.

We wander around for an hour. Shanti likes the people, especially those who come up and pet her. She ignores the dogs, except the very small ones.
