Irma took me on a surprise visit to Vuosaaren kartano, which I didn’t know even existed. It has reopened this year as a French-themed shop and café.

The maze of little rooms have been left intact and give it a very interesting atmosphere. It feels almost as if you have stumbled into a street market in Wonderland.

I photograph a hat on display in an alcove. Then we go downstairs to eat home made pies and salad.
