I take Shanti out for a walk while Irma works. We do what we normally do: we walk into the woods and turn left into the area which used to house a tennis court. Normally she wanders around the gras and weeds, walks into the trees at the sides, does her business, sniffs whatever she sniffs for ten minutes or more, and then wants to go back home to watch Irma work.

Today she walks to the far edge, and looks up the hill, which she has done before. This time she bounds up it, looking back from halfway up to see if I have started to follow. I have so she continues racing up, while I scramble thinking that I would not have worn Crocs if I had known we would do this.

We get to the top and she wanders around. We then carry on until we find a way down the other side, stumbling down to Riskutie.

We walk back along the round, turning left into Vartiokylä, and then left again into Rohdinkuja. This all seems to make Shanti very happy indeed, and she jumps around by way of explaining the adventure to Irma.
