Today I woke up to find myself officially one year older. Not only that I got an Arabia mug as a birthday present: a mug that features every Arabia stamp used since they began. Not only that, but I got driven to the massage parlour we have both visited in the past where I received a ninety minute massage.

I came out realising that that felt sorely needed. As I emerged I walked up the slight incline and past the renovated shops. I stopped outside the bar called Little Bird and took a picture. It stands next door to the more prosaically named Bar Puotila.

One sells ales and beers from around the world. One opens early for morning drinkers and closes late. Can you guess which does what?

Later Naa will come round and we will eat and drink and I will receive a Moomin mug and saucer.
