Stoa, 14:30
I walked to the library this morning and stayed there hunting for something to read. During this process I found a book by an author I had never heard of, James Thompson, who wrote a series of novels set in Helsinki about a police inspector called Kari Vaara.
Unfortunately the only book they had in stock, Helsinki White seemed the third in the series so I left it on the shelf. When I check online I discover that the library service only has two of the five books in the series in stock and so my chances of reading them in order plummet.
I also discover that Thompson had a sudden unexpected death, and I find out nothing more about that online either.
Before I leave the library I wander upstairs and see this hanging on the wall. Distracted by my failure to find the first Vaara novel (Snow Angels), I forget to check to see who made this, or why.
