Lighthouse Beach, 12:45
Yesterday I wiped and moved the outdoor furniture and moved it indoors, out of reach of the monsoon rains. Irma had given me an action list for closing the house and I spent the morning ticking off the remaining tasks.
Christine phoned yesterday evening to invite me round today because she had had no time to chat the last few times I had arrived. This morning Rosie has disappeared somewhere with her miniature pack so I trot to the beach to hang out with Christine and Hari for an hour or so.
Only one Swedish woman joined us, and I know and like her even though I can never remember her name her name, and she seems funnier and less bossy than the others.
Since Rosie has not appeared I walk back along the beach and pause by the German Bakery to photograph the sea which has a covering of mist that has still not dispersed.
Rosie will meet me on the walk home and she will want to visit Alan and Lisa. We do, and we agree that they will look after Rosie. Lisa and Rosie seem especially delighted with this arrangement.
We set up a Rosie the Dog WhatsApp group and I go and collect the spare bags of dog food.
I leave very happy. They have apparently fed Rosie and the other two quite regularly, and Rosie obviously really likes them. I feel happier than I have for a week or so,
