I have decided that I will get the dog tired by taking a more or less unnecessary walk to the beach and back. This will also count as my daily exercise, since I have put on weight since New Year.

I notice that the crowds on the beach have thinned out, as have the crowds in the restaurants. I also notice the big ships out at sea coming or going to the harbour.
