I decide to take Rosie for a walk because experience tells me that she will not want to go to sleep unless she has had some proper exercise.

We head to Abhi’s Café to see if I can buy any of Mani’s mother’s samosas. I can.

We get back quickly and I set two samosas on a plate. I will add cucumber and chilli sauce to this and then sit down on the balcony with a very cold glass of water.

Later we will go and collect some parcels from Lekha, and the dog will lie on the sofa and fall asleep at sleeping time.
