We get up early, get to the airport, and get the UL161 to Trivandrum at 8:15. The flight takes 40 minutes.

Ajit meets us and we drive home. We had wondered what would happen to Rosie while we went missing but the dogs see us in the distance seconds after we arrive, and Rosie comes hurtling down the street towards us.

After ten minutes of jumping up at us and running round us we all settle down and within a few minutes she has claimed her usual place on the sofa and fallen fast asleep.

She doesn’t even appear hungry.
