Bokka Almeida, 11:00

We have heard loud crashes on the roof of our chalet from time to time and the three boys who run the kitchen and do the maintenance have said we can hear the monkeys as they pass by.
This morning I see a monkey on the roof, and it seems a lot larger than I expected. When it stands up it seems at least one metre tall.
One of the boys throws the monkey some bread. It comes and gets it and then goes back onto the beach to eat it.
I ask it the monkeys have names and the boys look at me as though I am mad.
