Today we discovered the name of the small dog with the yellow collar who plays with Rosie sometimes: Luka. The woman who owns it told me as she walked down the alley and Luka tried to race into our garden.

In the evening we decided to go to Lighthouse Beach and ended up at Crab Club, which has surrounded itself with bunting and lights. I take a photograph of the tide coming in while we sit looking out.
