I don’t think it does either the dog or me a lot of good to stay indoors all day so, despite the fact that I still feel as though I have suffered a recent hammer attack on the back of my neck, we both head off in the direction of the beach.

We go to see if Christine has sold anything but, sadly she has had almost no customers over the weekend. Just as she says this two customers walk in and we leave her enchanting them as they look at various items of clothing.

The lounge has now officially opened for lounging in and I look around before photographing one of the shop windows and quietly leaving.

Later I will have a planning meeting for Miaaw and make a snap decision to move all our stuff from Soundcloud to Podbean.

I can cite technical reasons for this and also practical and ideological ones. Soundcloud’s reinvention by an injection of VC capital may have saved it from impending doom, but it has also caused it to pivot into prioritising its opportunities to become a major music streaming service. Podbean has existed for twenty years and, like Todoist, has bootstrapped itself; and also has the same CEO as it had when it started.
