I left at 11:00 with Sanu, after asking Shaija if she would take the tablets from Lekshmi and Ali when they arrived.

At noon we arrived at the FRRO building and I waited for my interview. I had an extremely friendly and helpful conversation with the man who saw me, and left feeling much happier than when I arrived.

Next stop, GG Hospital to collect my report. Professor Krishna G has found nothing abnormal in any of the samples taken last week. I have a certificate proving my roadworthiness.

To obtain the report a nurse took me down a lot of twisty corridors. At one point she asked me to sit and wait. I sat and waited and took a picture.

The day started with no rain and continued the same way. I will spend the evening reading to the sounds of cicada, who have had their music drowned out, both literally and metaphorically, for almost a week.
