Lighthouse Hill, 17:30
I spent a lot of the day writing an almost final version of the second chapter of my intended novel, and plotting the third part. The process felt good. I think I should aim for two chapters a week, and see if I can manage to keep that pace up.
After putting the writing away, both physically and mentally, I walked up the big hill to meet Chad and Sally at their house. We chatted and then decided to walk down to the beach to eat.
Typically Chad chose a short cut that actually involved walking twice the distance of the usual, and more obvious, route.
Now I find myself walking down the very steep hill that leads to the lighthouse end of Lighthouse Beach. I pause to take a photograph of the glimpse of the sea you get as you near the bottom. Chad and Sally refer to this road as Lighthouse Hill, so I may as well do so too.
We go to Sanjeevini where this season’s chef obviously skipped a few lessons in catering school. I ordered dal fry, aloo gobi, and a naan.
I recognised the dal fry.
