After breakfast Sanu drove me to see Doctor Jay at Suvarna Aesthetics in Trivandrum. I photograph the sign and the narrow street where the surgery sits, because I do not want to risk forgetting any of this adventure.

According to the pathology report, I did not have a BCC, I had an SCC, which can prove more hazardous than the almost-benign BCC. Therefore I will have to have some follow up tests to make sure that nothing happened elsewhere in my face and neck before Doctor Jay removed the lump.

Today he removes the stitches and my face looks remarkably healed.

I leave and we go to Lulu Mall so I can talk with the boys at the Lenovo store to see if they can help me with the three DGD tablets that have all suddenly developed the same problem. They refuse to start and go into an infinite loop when they reach the start up screen. They give me a phone number.

As I walk through the mall I notice that Daiso has opened. It might win an award as the world’s smallest and most cramped Daiso.

In the evening I record a podcast with Arlene and find that this reinvigorates me. Reinvigorated, I fall asleep.
