I have taken Shanti for her pre-breakfast walk and then for a walk later in the morning. We decide that we will all go for a very long walk before we take to to stay with Camilla and Anita. We head off into the woods.

Yesterday Shanti met Bruno on her walk and literally bounced up and down with delight. They played with each other for ten minutes or so until the humans involved decided to continue walking.

Today we have no such lick. We walk through the woods and I take some photos of the others. We walk into the fields where everything has been cut down and rolled into bales.

We then drive to see Camilla. Shanti recognises where we are and doesn’t seem to mind at all. When we get to their house she jumps in happily. When we leave she gets up to come with us.

The house feels oddly empty when we get back.
