Workroom, 11:11

In August we went to Porvoo and hung out at the Blumberg outlet, as we tend to do at least once every summer.

They had celebration stocks of limited edition Blackcurrant Kisses in stock, to celebrate their 150th anniversary as chocolate makers, and we bought several: some to give as presents and some for ourselves.

We have a few left and here we find them, gathered shyly together.

Kisses have a complex history as a well-loved chocolate and as an example of “accidental Finnish racism”. The Brunberg website explains this as sweetly as it can.
