We decide that we should travel further along the coast and head to the railway station. We get a train to Taggia which takes about 11 minutes. We get out in the middle of nowhere.

We look around but can see nothing except highway junctions and industrial buildings.

We eventually find a taxi that agrees to take us into town. We end up by the beach where we eat a mediocre pizza in an uninterested restaurant. The beach looks overcrowded and very fenced in. We phone the taxi who turns up to rescue us.

We wait for some time for a train back to Ventimiglia, and I take a picture of it as it pulls into the station.
