Room 320, 18:18

I wake up and open the curtains. I take a photograph of the view I see from my window in Room 320 of the Travelodge in Wimbledon.

I will go to the West End today. It will feel so crowded and uncomfortable that I will abandon some of my plans and head back to Wimbledon as fast as I can.

On the way back I will pick up a copy of Metro and discover that the tube service will not run from sometime on Sunday to sometime on Friday. The RMT union members have decided to strike to get their working week reduced from 35 hours to 32 hours.

I can feel many of my plans for this trip starting to evaporate.
