If you keep your eyes and ears open you can learn a lot of interesting information.

Sitting on a flight from Helsinki to London I look at the safety information in the seat pocket in front of me. I see something that I have never noticed before.

“In case of emergency” I can now request an extra-large glass of wine by holding my hand up at head height.

This seems a wonderfully civilised response to an emergency: reminiscent of Roger Moore in his unruffled James Bond prime.

I like flying with Finnair.
