Earlier today, when Irma took her for a walk in the woods, Shanti found a football in the woods, well off the path, grabbed it in her big jaws and raced home with it as fast as she could (which means very fast indeed), with Irma running after her.

Now the three of us have gone for a walk. Irma spotted a decorative ladder in the Vartiokylä Facebook group and offered to take it. We will soon own a blue ladder suitable for hanging plants on.

As we walk along Raitamaenpolku I notice a sticker on a signpost. I photograph it. When I get home I will check the URL and discover that it points to a graffiti supply company.

Call me naive but I didn’t know such things existed.

Now I do.
