Naa got her first pay cheque from her job as a nursery school class teacher yesterday. (If cheques still existed.) Today Auo would have had her twenty fourth birthday. Naa wanted to take us for a meal.

Irma opted to drive to Porvoo, where we bought chocolates from Brunberg and then went to Marski, the Thai street food restaurant we last went to years ago. The food tasted every bit as good as it used to, and all three of us had a substantial, spicy plateful.

The layout of their relatively new premises works extremely well. Everything fits together in a neat box shape. I photograph Irma and Naa as they sit in our cubicle.
