Among the newsletters I subscribe to, one of the more interesting, and less frequent, comes from Seth Godin. Recently he announced the beta version of a new project he has embarked on: a set of mentor cards that use AI in a potentially interesting way. Each card has a QR code on the back which leads to an “artefact” at Claude.ai which has been trained using the published works of the person on the front of the card.

You can then have a “conversation” with Claude, who will use the learned works from the mentor of your choice to guide its responses. In theory it then works in the same mirror-like way as the I-Ching or a deck of tarot cards.

I decided on the spur of the moment to order a deck, beta version, of Mentor cards to further our discussions about how (or if) to take Miaaw forward.

The pack of cards arrived today, accompanied by a postcard and a booklet written by Seth Godin using the mentor deck and a previous blog post of his.
