We take Shanti on her long daily walk. She usually gets to decide where we go and today she has made the decision to go up a little path that branches out from the main one.

We head up a steep slope and deep into the woods. We get to a plateau at the top where Shanti sniffs around some of the remnants from the wartime defenses that keep the woods safe from redevelopment.

We will walk around for a while and then find our way back down to the path.

She can happily spend hours sniffing her way through the woods.
