The heatwave continues.

We decide to drive to Pellinge to do some weeding on the little piece of land we bought and intend to leave quietly rewilding itself.

We take Shanti with us, but before we check for algae we go to Benita’s for coffee and sandwiches, and then we wander down to the beach by the mini-golf. Irma stands in the water throwing a stick while Shanti swims out to fetch it and bring it back to the shore (but not necessarily to Irma).

Finally we wander up the hill to look at the public barbecue area while Shanti dries in the breeze. On the way back to the car park we spot a fire engine arriving, not for a fire but for coffee and sandwiches.
