Silva works at the Finnish Embassy in Brazil and has returned briefly to Finland for a summer holiday. Irma arranges for us all to meet “somewhere in East Helsinki” and we end up choosing Ravintola Wanha Mylly.

I spot some mildly interesting shadows while we sit there and out comes my camera. I put this away when the menu arrives. I have a very nice eggplant and feta cheese burger, which abandons both meat and the idea of a patty of any kind. It tastes delicious and fills me up.
