The weather has kept going from one extreme to another. We woke up to thunder and heavy rain, then the sky went black and we ate brunch with the lights on. The sky brightened and Irma left to meet Olli and Charlotta at a branch of Round in Sörnäinen, while I met Riyan and Simi online.

Riyan and I have spent a couple of hours trying to get Simi’s laptop working again. It has displayed a mysterious demand for a Bitlocker Recovery Key for a week, although no recovery key exists. By the end of the DGD session we had made some progress, and decide to continue next Sunday.

We had communicated through WhatsApp, and so I had looked through various conversations there while waiting for Riyan to report back. I came across a great photo of Shanti swimming that Irma had posted last Wednesday when we took her to the beach. It captures her perfectly; much better than any photo I have managed to take of her.

One thing we can definitely say about Shanti: she loves swimming. Here we see her bringing back a stick that Irma has thrown into the water.
