Yesterday we had the first properly hot day of the year, and today we have the second. We spend another day in the garden, weeding and planting.

Late yesterday afternoon Naa came round and we spent the evening eating salmon and prawns and homemade rhubarb crumble. Later this afternoon we will take Shanti to the dog park near Naa’s apartment to meet Dumbo.

Shanti will have little interest in playing, or running around. She will, however, appear to get along with him, and he with her. They will both sit and walk happily together. However Dumbo will do all the running for both of them.

Most impressively, Dumbo can get three tennis balls in his mouth at once and run around the park carrying them.
