The sun has come out and the dog and I have spent most of the morning working in the garden: me working on pulling up weeds and Shanti working on stopping me by disappearing at frequent intervals.

Irma has returned from a meeting in the centre and I have come to Itäkeskus to get my passport photograph taken. On the way back I sit in the front of the nearly empty bus and taken a photograph as we pass The Black Bird, a pub I have not entered in over a decade.

When I get home I will apply for my new passport online and have the whole process finished in ten minutes.

I should have it in eight working days or less.
