We woke up early Helsinki time, and were eating breakfast by 9:30. By that point I had already changed the bedding and showered.

Joni and Teemu had kept our paths free of snow, so I went out and cleared the snow in front of the windows for an hour, as much for exercise as anything. The snow has decreased while we were away judging by the piles in our garden. The woods are covered in snow but perfectly walkable.

At noon Irma and Naa will leave to collect Sunshine from Lena, who would be quite happy to keep it permanently. It will wander around the house, rubbing against everyone, and seem happy to be home.

In the evening we will go to see Irma’s mother’s temporary accommodation, and Naa will stay there overnight to help.
