Mali, Niilia’s sister, has a boyfriend called Eero, and they have invited us to their housewarming party this afternoon. Unfortunately they live somewhere far from easy to find, even with Google Maps. Even when we get the directions the City of Vantaa set out to thwart us with several sets of impossible-to-navigate roadworks.

Eventually we find their house and spend a happy couple of hours with the whole family, and some of their long time friends.

Now we drive home to see if Shanti has dug into the cupboards and found herself some food.

No she hasn’t. Phew. Calm and trustworthy…
