AntennaPod

The website says “AntennaPod is a podcast player that is completely open. The app is open-source and you can subscribe to any RSS feed. AntennaPod is built by volunteers without commercial interest, so it respects your privacy while giving you full control”.

It works on Android devices and I started using this earlier in the month. It seems to work nicely, and do everything I need it to do. You can get it from the Play Store and also from F-Droid.
