Behind Sarovaram, 19:38

When I arrived here a month or so ago (on April 23, since you ask) the patch of land behind the house had just had everything removed from the ground including the trees, the grass, and so on. The whole plot formed an unvaried sandy slope.
Now it looks like this.
The plant growing in the middle stands well over 1 metre tall, having grown from nothing in a month, and may well grow into a banana tree in another month or two. Or it may not. I do not know as much as I should about these things.
I do know, however, that everything here grows at a speed that I have rarely seen. And here I can see it happening.
