Temple path, 10:10
When I went to The Village on Saturday I discovered that we had left more DOP work there than I could carry in one go. So I took what I judged the most important items and promised to come back on Monday to collect the rest.
After breakfast, and some tablet fun with Shanti, I set off only to meet Hari as I walked down Temple path. The convoy of wheelbarrows were heading in the direction of The Village, full of rubble and stones destined for use as filler when the floor of the lounger gets raised. Hari had to go the other way to pay the man in charge.
I waited at The Village where the woman who does the cooking made me a glass of fresh lemon juice. As I expected Hari’s “I will be five minutes” took him closer to an hour, as one thing led to another.
No matter: I got the rest of our things and headed back home. The weather forecast said “34 | feels like 44” and by the time I arrived I felt like congratulating the forecast on its accuracy.
I had to drink a litre of water to rehydrate.
