Wimbledon Piazza, 8:45
Out early I photograph the piazza. In an hour or so it will fill up with a market where, should I want, I could purchase a vegan hotdog topped with vegan cheese. And not just a hotdog: a vegan bratwurst guaranteed to have the taste and texture of dead animals with no actual animals (live or dead) involved.
The market will also have a dj, a variery of food trucks from different parts of the world, and a variety of candlemakers and potters from different parts of Wimbledon.
What Orinoco would say about this, I wonder. I also wonder: I did photograph Orinoco, didn’t I? (Other options existed, had I chosen to wander a few metres further.)
