We have started preparing to leave Kerala, and we make one final trip to Swiss Café.

Appu said earlier in the week that all the tourists have suddenly left. Certainly we could describe this place as empty tonight.

I look at next door’s sign and a reflection of next door’s sign in the sudden dark as we wait for our food to arrive.
