I walk to the beach again. This time I go to The Village to deliver some stuff and collect some other stuff.

I sit in Coconut Grove today, to taste their deliciously thick salt and pepper lassi. While there I notice a ship on the horizon and get up to photograph it.

When I get home I will read a post in the Kovalam Connect Facebook group telling me that I have, in fact, seen a Russian war ship patrolling the coast of Kerala. It will tell me that “Google AI identifies this vessel as a Russian Missile Cruiser, probably the Moskva or the Varyag”.

Maybe I have. Now I can wonder why I saw it patrolling the Indian coast.
