We have walked down to the beach, leaving Shanti at home. The beach seems to have drawn everyone in Kerala there. In the middle of all the crowds, one man has cleared space around himself by the sheer force of his despondency.

I watch him keeping the space around himself completely empty by the unbeatable power of negativity, and eventually photograph this to prove to myself that it actually happened.
