Mary Musgrove organises regular fund-raising events for her dog rescuing mission. Today we go to her Christmas event at Molly’s in Samudra.

We spend most of the evening with Chad and Sally, joined by George, Olya and others. Sally lends me Orbital, this year’s Booker Prize winning novel.

Olya will win the raffle and take home a large box of Christmas goodies Mary brought back with her from England. The box will contain not one but two Christmas puddings!

I photograph the bar staff and bar. Later they will form a line dancing with anyone who will dance with them.
