I went to Abhi’s café to buy some samosas and now I begin my walk home. I notice an Asianet truck parked next to a pole. I have seen this before and I look around for the driver. I see nobody.

This truck, or one like it, parked outside our house earlier in the year when our wifi stopped working. A man got out and ran straight up the ladder, stood on the very top and started fiddling with some of the maze of wires hanging from the pole. Within a few minutes we had wifi.

I noticed that someone has roped the ladder to the three-wheel truck so the driver can just leap out and run up it. I look in the truck as I pass and, yes indeed, someone has roped the ladder to the truck.
