Afrodelic

I saw Afrodelic yesterday evening at the Indie Music Festival at the Kerala Arts & Crafts Centre. I enjoyed them a lot.

You can see their website here. At first glance they might look like a white band playing homage to African music. However, in reality, the founder and leader guitarist and producer Victor Diawara, had a Lithuanian mother and a father from Mali, where he grew up. Their music has deep roots in the culture of Mali.
